The Opportunity

We are expanding our Global Mobility Tax team and seeking a Senior Manager who specializes in UK/US taxation. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can provide exceptional client service, navigate complex UK and US tax matters, and drive strategic insights.

As a dynamic and high-growth team, we have achieved double-digit growth and are focused on expanding our advisory offerings. We seek an individual with a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial mindset who aligns with our innovative and global client base.

  • Managing a portfolio of Global Mobility clients, with a focus on private/fast-growth UK-headquartered organizations.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships while providing high-quality tax services.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of UK and US mobility tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring technical excellence.
  • Collaborating across service lines and global teams to identify UK/US mobility opportunities.
  • Driving new tax projects and developing business from existing and target clients.
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members, while making strategic management decisions.

Skills And Attributes For Success

You’ll have:

  • Expertise in UK/US taxation, particularly in handling complex cross-border tax issues.
  • Strong client relationship skills, including experience engaging with senior management, executives, and C-suite professionals.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and monitor budgets effectively.
  • Ability to deliver clear, practical, and technically accurate tax advice in both UK and US contexts.
  • Experience reviewing complex UK and US Federal/State tax returns and leading tax advisory projects.
  • A team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, ready to embrace innovation and new ways of working.
  • Ability to identify risks, review effectively, and escalate when necessary.
  • A problem solver who is commercially aware and client focused.
  • Qualified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and qualified to practice US tax (Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)).
  • Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Experienced Senior Manager within Global Mobility Tax.
  • Experience working within professional services.
