Senior Manager - US/UK Expatriate Tax (Dual Handler)

A highly regarded, international tax advisory firm is seeking a Senior Manager to join its growing US/UK expatriate tax team. This is a pivotal role within an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment, offering exposure to a high-quality portfolio of globally mobile individuals, senior executives, and HNW clients.

The firm prides itself on a culture where individuals are empowered to take ownership, contribute to decision-making, and play an active role in shaping the business. You'll be joining a team that values technical excellence, integrity, and a strong client-first mindset, with clear opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Manage and review a portfolio of US/UK expatriate clients across compliance and advisory
  • Review complex US and UK tax returns (e.g. Forms 1040/1040NR, FBAR, UK Self-Assessment)
  • Provide tailored cross-border tax advice, including residency, mobility, and planning considerations
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team, fostering a high-performance and supportive environment
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser
  • Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice

Requirements:-

  • Enrolled Agent (EA) and ATT qualified (essential)
  • Strong experience in US/UK expatriate tax within a professional services firm
  • Excellent technical knowledge across both US and UK personal tax
  • Proven experience reviewing work and leading teams
  • Commercially minded with strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
