Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the digital transformation roadmap for vendor management, focusing on automation, data integration, and advanced analytics.
  • Own the transition from manual, fragmented workflows to scalable, system-driven processes across the vendor lifecycle.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across IT, Product, Finance, and Commercial and Operation Team to align digital initiatives with broader business and commercial objectives.

Data Architecture and Analytics Ownership

  • Translate complex datasets into actionable insights to support strategic planning, cost optimization, and performance improvement.

Automation and Systems Integration

  • Drive end-to-end automation of vendor management processes, including sourcing, quoting, cost book, performance tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and solution architecture teams to implement integrated systems and APIs that enhance data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and implement digital tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, CRM systems, vendor platforms) to standardize and optimize workflows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
