Senior Manager, Wealth Advisory Development

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Wealth Advisory Development to help shape the future of Wealth Advisory at HSBC. This 12-month secondment is a high-impact opportunity to turn strategic ambition into measurable delivery—building a scalable, digitally enabled advisory model that improves productivity, strengthens unit economics, and enhances customer outcomes.

Role purpose

You’ll drive the end-to-end transformation of the Wealth Advisory model—bridging strategy, frontline execution, and platform delivery to create an efficient, profitable, and future-proof advisory business. You’ll translate strategy into an executable roadmap, align cross-functional teams, and drive delivery discipline to achieve sustainable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive delivery of the Wealth Advisory Strategic Execution programme, aligned to business strategy and regulatory direction (including simplified advice propositions).
  • Establish and run an execution framework covering roadmap, governance, milestones, reporting cadence, and OKR tracking.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery across WPS, Channels, Risk, Finance, COO, and Technology—ensuring momentum, clarity, and accountability.
  • Drive the redesign of the future advisory model aligned to AGBR and HBUK wealth strategy, including segmentation, eligibility, and service coverage.
  • Define the target operating model and end-to-end customer/service journeys across digital and frontline channels, improving efficiency and client experience.
  • Partner closely with Channels and Digital Wealth Platforms to deliver AI-driven financial planning capabilities and launch a scalable digital/simplified advice MVP with strong unit economics.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
