Who We Are
We are Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where we partner with leaders to resolve their most pressing challenges while unlocking unprecedented opportunities. Since 1963, we’ve been redefining business strategy, now specialising in total transformation—blending digital and human capabilities to help organisations grow, compete, and drive bottom-line impact.
With a diverse, global team, we leverage deep industry and functional expertise across management consulting, technology/design integration, corporate ventures, and strategic purpose. Our model fosters collaborative problem-solving—whether within the firm or within the client’s organisation—to deliver outcomes that drive success.
What You’ll Do
As the IT Workplace Technology Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of BCG’s workplace technology stack across office renovations, relocations, and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration of IT, audiovisual, and smart workplace systems.
- Own technology coordination to align IT, AV, and smart office solutions with broader design/build processes, working closely with architects, interior designers, MEP teams, lighting/acoustic specialists, and furniture providers.
- Collaborate within structured design frameworks (e.g., RIBA stages) to ensure workspace technology complements planning while enhancing functionality.
- Act as a key point of contact for workplace technology, bridging local offices, global stakeholders, and IT teams to align requirements, manage trade-offs, and mitigate risks.
- Communicate technical and strategic insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuously refine delivery standards and share learnings to shape BCG’s global workplace technology evolution.
This is a forward-looking role requiring:
- Proactive use of AI tools for operational efficiency.
- A user-centric focus in technology implementation.
- Partnerships with product teams to translate project feedback into roadmap improvements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
