About the Role

Due to global expansion, Crisis24 seeks a commercial, highly motivated, dynamic, and dedicated Senior Managing Consultant (Response Group) to initially support the All Hazards Response (AHR) team before transitioning into broader Response Group responsibilities. This role requires a lateral-thinking senior consultant who:

  • Primarily leads All Hazards Response (AHR) cases
  • Contributes to Response Consulting Services (including Cyber Response, Special Risks, Product Risks)
  • Supports business development under the guidance of the Director, All Hazards Response

  • Primary base: London (2 London Bridge)

Key Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director, All Hazards Response to develop and execute response strategies.
  • Case Management:
    • Perform daily operational review of AHR cases to ensure high-quality responses.
    • Act as Case Manager, ensuring Response Consultants and clients are fully supported.
    • Maintain accurate case documentation and schedule updates with insurance partners.
  • Process reinforcement: Continuously improve internal workflows and client service levels.
  • Collaboration: Close coordination with fellow AHR Case Manager to provide Director AHR with holistic case oversight.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Response Consultant duties: Deploy directly with clients’ crisis teams during incidents.
  • Duty Officer coverage: Periodically handle after-hours incident triage and advisories.
  • Consulting execution: Deliver global risk and crisis management services proactively and reactively.
  • Resource deployment: Coordinate necessary tools and personnel for delivery of services.

Business Development

  • Collaborate with CSC management for client pitches, especially focusing on:
    • Underwriter business development (supporting high-value clients).
    • Broker engagements and direct client retention.
  • Partner with Regional Directors to scale pre-incident consulting services globally.
  • Account management and relationship deepening with existing clients.

Collaboration

  • Work with Crisis24’s global teams (CSC Response Consultants, ATCs, IRM, PSG).
  • Engage with GardaWorld colleagues (EMEA, US, Canada).
  • External partnerships: clients, brokers, underwriters, and third-party intelligence sources.

Reporting Line & Authority

  • Reports to: Director, All Hazards Response (with cross-Response Group alignment).
    • Supports wider CSC including Cyber Response, Special Risks, Product Risks & Consulting.
  • Supervisory accountability: Streamlined through companywide KPIs and annual performance reviews.
  • Key deliverables:
    • Revenue generation via responses, tenders, and proposals.
    • Strategic CRM implementation.
    • High-standard execution of case management and consulting services.
    • Client admin, brand profile-building, and participation in performance reviews.

Who You Will Mentor & Manage

Within Crisis24:

  • Direct: Response Consultants and internal teams (ATC, IRM, PSGs, crosses teams). Outside Crisis24:
  • Clients, brokers, insured parties, intelligence sources.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant expertise in:
    • Security risk/crisis management
    • Insurance markets (especially underwriter/client relationships)
    • Crisis response consultation (proven track record)
  • Analysis and mitigation skills:
    • Strong ability to identify/gauge global risks via open-source intelligence + specialized tools.
  • Public/private sector fluency: Large multinational corporations, SMEs, high-net-worth individual support.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen: Proven sales targets achievement, client-proposal authoring/negotiation, and negotiated contract signing.
  • Global travel/temp Culture-ready: Efficiently navigate multicultural client contexts with sensitivity.
  • Basic certifications: At least one recognised security credential (e.g., CSMP, CPP, or PSP).
  • technical skills: Strong MS Office proficiency preferred.
  • Language: Fluent written/spoken English mandatory; Spanish/French a strong asset.

  • Prior Crisis24/GardaWorld background.
  • A personal network built within insurance brokerage environments.
