Senior Managing Consultant
We're looking for a Senior Managing Consultant to lead and grow a high-performing recruitment team, combining strategic client partnership with hands-on people leadership. You'll own key client relationships, drive new business, and build a strong pipeline, while developing your team through regular coaching, clear goals, and a culture that balances performance with wellbeing. A strong billing record and genuine commercial instinct are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the recruitment team, setting goals, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key clients, understanding their talent requirements, and delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
- Work closely with clients to develop effective talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing plans, candidate engagement approaches, and employer branding initiatives.
- Oversee the sourcing and assessment of candidates for diverse positions, ensuring a thorough evaluation of skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
- Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and building a strong pipeline of recruitment projects.
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring compliance with established procedures and delivering a seamless experience for clients and candidates.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, analyse data, and provide regular reports to clients and management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging recruitment practices, providing valuable insights to clients and the team.
- Adding to your headcount to build the best possible sector division/ team
- Conducting regular 121s and team briefs including information about sales goals, campaigns and other relevant information
- Recognising employee achievements and encouraging excellence in the work environment
- Motivating the team to gain the highest possible outcomes through activity whilst balancing wellbeing
- Working to ensure all staff receive the best possible development so they reach their full potential
- Evaluate team and individual performance, providing feedback and coaching

- A successful billing record in recruitment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve targets and goals.
- Excellent client relationship management abilities, demonstrating a client-centric approach and the capacity to cultivate long-term partnerships.
- Solid understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement and influence with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, adept at addressing recruitment challenges and implementing successful solutions.
- Proficiency in recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and other relevant tools.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets while delivering high-quality services.
