Meraki Talent is delighted to be exclusively supporting an established international manufacturing firm in their search for a permanent Senior Accountant to join their Glasgow team on a permanent basis paying up to £65k. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong accounts experience within a manufacturing environment further offering a clear progression path and a high degree of flexibility.

The Role:
This role will involve assisting with the submission of statutory and management accounts reporting at a regional level, reporting into the senior finance manager.

- Submission of statutory and management accounts
- Month-end/year-end reporting
- Complex Financial statement preparation
- Tax preparation and reporting in line with local requirements
- Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- Monthly entity Op Ex Cost analysis
- Working closely with international stakeholders, supply chain and senior leadership
- Work closely with relevant teams to ensure P2P processes and sub ledgers are closed efficiently

Candidate Profile:
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE
- Experience of preparing financial and management accounts within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to confidently liaise with international and senior stakeholders
- APAC or EMEA experience would be highly advantageous
