About the role
To lead and execute the brand’s running marketing strategy, driving brand awareness, demand and commercial growth
- Develop and execute the annual and midterm running marketing strategy aligned to Mizuno UK’s business growth targets
- Lead all running marketing campaigns across product launches, seasonal stories, events and social media
- Build Mizuno brand position within running market across retail, partnerships, communities and the end consumer.
- Manage and Support the Tech Rep Team.
Key tasks and responsibilities include;
- Manage all Running Marketing Expenditure in line with agreed Budgets.
- Create Running Launch calendars, GTM plans and seasonal campaigns.
- Work closely with sales team to produce seasonal activity calendars with key Running retail partners to effectively support sell through
- Manage and drive the relationship with our PR agency to help grow and authenticate the Mizuno brand within the running market and community
- Develop partnerships with running influencers and athletes, including contract management where required.
- Manage and oversee grassroots activations with run clubs, races and community events.
- Lead and coordinate the Tech Rep team’s activities, ensuring they are in line with the overall Brand and Commercial Objectives.
- Plan and oversee the UK social media strategy across all channels to increase brand visibility and engagement with Running community.
- Contract and relationship Management responsibilities for any Mizuno sponsored Running Events
- Attend and represent the UK at any EMEA Running marketing meetings or events.
- Represent the brand at all Running industry and brand events.
- Ensure corporate identity is used correctly and consistently in line with the brand direction
- Ensure brand assets are maintained on all online platforms internally and externally to ensure premium brand representation

In addition to these duties and responsibilities, the jobholder may be required to carry out other tasks assigned by his manager, especially across the general Marketing Function.

Your Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Minimum of 5 years marketing experience (preferably in running industry)
- Strong leadership and people management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record in project management
- Experience of building strong and lasting professional and beneficial business partnerships.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop Etc.)
- Has a Passion for Running
