Senior Marketing Account Manager
About Team Valley Group An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team at Team Valley Group! We're seeking a talented Senior Marketing Account Manager to help drive our clients’ online presence and engage with their target audiences.
About the Role As a Senior Marketing Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Marketing Manager and developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote clients’ brands, increase their online visibility, and drive customer engagement. You will manage a portfolio of clients to create compelling content, manage campaigns, analyse performance metrics, and optimise online presence across social media, SEO, email, and content marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day tasks
- Coordinate and manage a portfolio of client accounts for various marketing initiatives.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive traffic, leads, and sales through:
- Email campaigns
- Social media
- SEO
- Content marketing
- Plan, assign, and delegate tasks, providing comprehensive briefs for content writers, designers, and creatives.
- Proofread and fact-check all content for clients to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain TVG brand consistency and standards.
- Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring trends.
- Create captivating copy and visuals.
- Assist in developing digital marketing materials such as:
- Landing pages
- Email templates
- Ad creatives (social ads, PPC, etc.)
- Support additional marketing projects as required.

Communication
- Conduct quarterly performance update meetings with clients.
- Maintain professional and transparent communication with clients, ensuring objectives are met.
- Collaborate ** Internally** with teams:
- Web design and development
- North East Networks
- Team Valley Printers
- (for high-quality content across platforms: websites, blogs, social media, video content, email newsletters).
Reporting and industry best practice
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance using tools like:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Social Pilot
- Ahrefs, and other digital avenues.
- Provide actionable insights for optimisation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Attend relevant forums and networking events to anticipate shifts in digital marketing strategy.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and experience
- 3+ years of proven experience in marketing, with a deep understanding of:
- Digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Experience working on client accounts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft engaging content for digital channels.
- Ability to interpret data and make informed, performance-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and multitasking ability.
- A creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation.

Nice-to-have preferences
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience managing and analysing:
- PPC and Meta advertising campaigns.
- Optimising campaigns based on client research + industry shifts.
- Experience with **graphic design/marketing tools:
- Adobe Express or Canva for visual assets.
- WordPress experience to manage digital content.

Salary
£27,000 – £30,000 per annum
