I'm hiring a Senior Marketing Analyst
Join a growing customer insights team within a well‑established UK business that's rapidly scaling its data and analytics capability.
This is a core role in the team, focused on unlocking value from customer data to drive smarter CRM, campaign targeting, and retention strategies.
Up to £60,000
Near Blackburn / Preston - Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
The company
A large and growing UK network of independent businesses, supporting over 500+ locations across the UK and Ireland. They've built a strong reputation in their sector and are now investing heavily in customer insight, CRM, and analytics to better understand and engage their customer base at scale.
The role
You'll sit within a growing Customer Insight team, working closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to:
- Understand customer behaviour
- Improve campaign targeting
- Drive retention and lifecycle engagement
- Turn data into actionable business insight
This team already has strong CRM and operational capability - but needs a dedicated analyst to own the data, insight, and performance side.

What you'll be doing
- Analyse customer and transactional data to identify behavioural trends and opportunities
- Build and optimise CRM campaign targeting and segmentation
- Support key initiatives like customer reactivation and recall campaigns
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑campaign analysis to measure performance and ROI
- Develop dashboards and reporting around retention, churn, and customer value
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver insight
- Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for non‑technical audiences
What you bring
Must-haves
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience in CRM / campaign / marketing analytics
- Experience analysing campaign performance and customer behaviour
- Comfortable working with customer segmentation and lifecycle data
- Strong communication skills - able to present insights clearly
- Experience working with stakeholders across different teams
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or similar tools
- Experience with dashboards (Power BI / Tableau or similar)
- Experience with survey or customer satisfaction data
- Background in retail, healthcare, or service‑led environments
