About the Role

As a Senior Marketing Artist at Cloud Imperium Games, you will play a leading role within the Marketing team, shaping the visual quality of campaigns that showcase our games to players around the world. Working closely with Creative Directors, Producers, Game Capture, and Development teams, you will create compelling, story-driven imagery that brings our universe to life across a wide range of marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of high impact marketing artwork, collaborating across Marketing and Development to bring game content to life for players, media, and partners.
  • Own complex creative briefs from concept through to final delivery, producing striking visuals for digital, print, social, web, events, and campaign marketing.
  • Capture and craft cinematic, narrative-driven imagery using our game engine, pushing visual quality while maintaining authenticity to the player experience.
  • Help raise the creative bar by mentoring other artists, sharing knowledge and championing best practices across the team.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Producers, and stakeholders to solve creative challenges and deliver world class campaigns.

Requirements

  • An exceptional eye for composition, lighting, colour, and detail, with a consistently high standard of artistic execution.
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the confidence to take ownership of briefs and drive visual excellence.
  • Strong working knowledge of 3D packages such as Maya or 3ds Max, with the ability to translate existing 3D skills into compelling real time imagery.
  • Expert proficiency in Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas, collaborate across disciplines, and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Experience mentoring others, providing creative guidance, and helping elevate the quality of work across the team.
