Senior Marketing Data Scientist

4-month contract
Hybrid - 3 days per week in London
Salary: £114,000 per year

We are partnering with one of the world's leading technology organisations to recruit an experienced Senior Marketing Data Scientist to join a high-performing analytics team delivering insights that influence product and business strategy.

This is an opportunity to work on large-scale data sets, solve complex business problems and collaborate with Product, Marketing and Engineering teams to deliver measurable commercial impact.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex business challenges into analytical solutions.
  • Build statistical models and generate actionable business insights.
  • Analyse user behaviour, retention, product performance and marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop scalable analytical frameworks and reusable solutions.
  • Build dashboards and automated reporting for business stakeholders.
  • Write production-quality SQL and Python code.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to influence strategic decisions.
  • Design evaluation metrics and measure business impact.
  • Improve data quality, pipelines and analytical processes.
  • Present recommendations to senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' commercial Data Science experience.
  • Expert Python and SQL skills.
  • Strong statistical analysis and modelling experience.
  • Experience analysing product or marketing data.
  • Dashboard development experience (Looker, Tableau or Power BI).
  • Experience communicating complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working alongside Product and Engineering teams.
  • Excellent commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.
