Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Marketing Events Specialist
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract (15 Months)

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Events Specialist with experience managing events, trade shows, corporate functions, or similar activities. This person will work closely with the Marketing Events Manager in determining event strategy, coordinating logistics, and onsite event management of various sizes to ensure seamless execution, consistent messaging, and brand alignment.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external vendors. We are looking for a candidate who can be autonomous and motivated, and who has excellent organizational skills. This person must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision. This role requires someone who provides outstanding customer service, is an enthusiastic professional who is comfortable leading teams, negotiating, and delegating responsibility. This person will have an in-depth understanding of the target audience, deliverables, to-do’s, dependencies, resources, timelines, and budgets for trade shows and other events.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal meetings, external field conferences, and industry tradeshows
- Must be able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time and have exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to manage production schedules and vendors. You’ll work to coordinate vendor timelines and needs with internal timelines and resources
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure all event materials, promotional materials, virtual event materials and presentations are current
- Coordinate with the Marketing Team, as well as other cross-functional teams, to communicate event schedules, timelines, budgets, deliverables, goals, and set expectations
- Understand project timelines and the event planning process. You’ll set/improve our project management process so that the team is efficient, turnkey where possible, and delivering consistent high-quality work

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Demonstrated event coordination experience required
- Detail-savvy and outcomes oriented
- Ability to communicate regularly and efficiently with stakeholders at various levels
- Must have proven experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and is comfortable and successful in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work effectively with all company levels from executives and senior management to outside partners and support staff
Travel
Travel will be required up to 25% of the time, including nights and weekends. Some international travel may be required
