Senior Marketing Executive
Senior Marketing Executive – Trade Show Event
Location: East London Package: £40,000 basic + generous bonus (up to £48,000 total)
The Opportunity
An established and highly respected events organisation is recruiting an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to lead the marketing strategy for one of its flagship consumer events.
This role offers:

The Role
Your core responsibilities will include:
Campaign Strategy & Execution

Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across:
- Digital (paid media, SEO/SEM)
- CRM & email marketing
- Social media
- PR & press strategy
- Offline channels (trade shows, partnerships, sponsorships)

Drive visitor acquisition, engagement, and retention using data-led marketing strategies.

Performance & Commercial Leadership
- Manage campaign budgets and measure ROI across all activities.
- Build strategic partnerships to expand audience reach and brand visibility.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Event teams to align marketing with commercial goals.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Oversee relationships with creative agencies, digital partners, PR firms, and media buyers.
- Oversee CRM, email marketing, and website content (ensuring user engagement and optimisation).
- Monitor KPIs and produce performance reports, recommending data-driven improvements.
Onsite & Post-Event Support
- Ensure seamless execution of live event marketing.
- Research market trends & competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
About You
We’re looking for a strategic yet hands-on Senior Marketing Executive with:
- At least five years’ experience in event marketing or a comparable senior marketing role.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale, multi-channel campaigns.
- Strong digital marketing expertise (paid media, CRM, email, and web optimisation).
- Experience managing agencies and external partners.
- Practical analytical skills (data interpretation, campaign optimisation).
- Excellent copywriting and content creation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, email marketing tools, and CMS systems.
- Robust project management skills (handling multiple campaigns simultaneously).
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder relationship abilities.

Bonus Considerations
- Marketing qualifications (e.g., CIM) would be advantageous, though not mandatory.
