Senior Marketing Executive

About The Role

Our client is now looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 36.25 hours per week.

The Role

As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will support the development and delivery of engaging multichannel marketing campaigns that promote our client’s events and training portfolio while driving commercial success.

Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you will plan, deliver and optimise campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences, taking projects from concept through to execution.

You will create and oversee a wide range of marketing content, support social media and paid advertising activity, and ensure compelling messaging is delivered across digital and offline channels.

Additionally, you will:

  • Support the development and delivery of annual marketing plans
  • Write, edit and proofread marketing and public relations materials
  • Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools
  • Research market trends, customer needs and competitor activity
  • Implement SMART objectives and produce campaign performance reports
  • Help manage marketing budgets and report on campaign ROI

About You

To be considered as a Senior Marketing Executive, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years’ marketing experience, ideally working within the events or training sector
  • Experience managing end-to-end varied multichannel marketing campaigns and applying marketing tactics to generate leads
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating marketing activity across multiple departments and communicating plans and updates effectively
  • Experience managing email marketing, social media and advertising channels, as well as using content management systems
  • Previous experience using a CRM for email campaigns and audience targeting
  • An understanding of content marketing channel best practices, including SEO, social media, and email
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in long, short and creative copy
  • A marketing degree, or equivalent experience
