Senior Marketing Manager

Director of Product Marketing (B2B Technical Hardware)

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire | Hybrid (minimum two days per week in-office) Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 basic + benefits

About the Company

Our client is a highly respected, international developer and manufacturer of business-critical, high-performance communication hardware and technical solutions. For over three decades, they have self-funded consistent growth—achieving 10% year-on-year financial health with a focus on technical excellence and long-term sustainability.

Operating as an Employee Ownership Trust, the business is free from venture capital or private equity influence, ensuring stability and alignment with the delegates’ success.

With in-house product design and global manufacturing capabilities, the company is now entering a phase of international product launches and market expansion.

The Role

This is not a traditional corporate marketing role—it’s a standalone, strategic, hands-on position that bridges engineering, product teams, and global commercial partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll act as the commercial linchpin between technical innovation and sales execution.
  • Initially an individual contributor role, this position sets the trajectory to build and lead a marketing function within 12–24 months.

What You Will Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

  • Product positioning & messaging: Translate complex, hard-to-digest technical specs into clear, benefit-driven value propositions—delivered through:
    • Battlecards
    • Launch kits
    • Sales decks
    • Detailed product differentiators

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
