Job Description
We’re looking for a dynamic, visionary marketeer to lead strategic marketing services across Europe and India. Reporting to the Regional Marketing Lead, this role will drive growth, elevate the AECOM brand in the energy sector, and activate high-impact regional initiatives.
As a high-visibility position, this opportunity demands strategic agility, stakeholder influence, and hands-on campaign execution in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing & Growth Activation
- Develop and implement high-impact marketing campaigns aligned with AECOM’s regional and global business growth priorities
- Collaborate with the Strategic Marketing Lead to identify and execute high-potential growth opportunities
- Design and deliver go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new energy sector services, ensuring market alignment and competitive differentiation
- Use structured frameworks like SOSTAC to plan, execute, and optimise campaign strategies
- Champion a client-centric, outside-in approach, embedding this perspective across internal teams and stakeholders
2. Brand Campaigns & High-Impact Events
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and delivery of major branded regional events and multi-channel campaign activities (e.g., flagship conferences, thought leadership initiatives)
- Oversee event logistics, content development, and post-event engagements, ensuring measurable ROI
- Partner with content, creative, communications, and digital teams to deliver integrated storytelling and multi-channel campaigns
- Ensure events and campaigns drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation while reflecting AECOM’s global brand promises
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Foster strategic relationships with internal stakeholders, including Client Account Managers, Sector Leaders, and global MarComms teams
- Act as a marketing advisor to business leaders, offering insights on best practices, brand positioning, and differentiation strategies
- Align regional marketing efforts with global brand and messaging guidelines, ensuring consistent brand communication
- Bridge gap between regional field teams and head office, translating local opportunities into global strategies

4. Marketing Operations & Performance Optimization
- Support marketing operations, including budget tracking, reporting, and compliance governance, to enhance efficiency
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance using data analytics tools, optimising for ROI at all stages
- Contribute to monthly marketing dashboards, providing senior leadership with actionable insights
- Help develop and refine marketing approval and execution workflows to streamline operations
Qualifications
Required
- 10+ years of experience in B2B strategic marketing, preferably within infrastructure, energy, or complex sectors
- Proven track record in developing and executing high-impact marketing strategies that drive growth in competitive markets
- Ability to align regional strategies with global brand standards and objectives
- Exceptional client-centric mindset, with experience in relationship-building marketing and driving sales through targeted initiatives
- Leadership abilities, including collaboration across global, multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., technical specialists, managers) and internal stakeholder influence
- Strong data analytics skills, capable of using marketing performance tools to track campaigns and optimise results
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
