About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketeer to lead strategic marketing within our regional energy sector team across Europe and India. This high-visibility role demands strategic, data-driven expertise to:

  • Drive business growth through integrated marketing strategies.
  • Elevate AECOM’s brand presence in the energy sector.
  • Activate high-impact campaigns, including flagship events.
  • Ensure alignment with global brand guidelines while tailoring to regional markets.

Location: Hybrid ( Primarily in London, Aldgate Tower) Legal Entity: AECOM Infrastructure and Environment UK Limited Business Line: Geography OH


Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Growth Activation

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business strategy priorities.
  • Collaborate with senior marketing leaders to identify and activate high-potential growth opportunities in Europe and India.
  • Design go-to-market strategies for new services and solutions, ensuring market penetration and competitive advantage.
  • Apply structured frameworks (e.g., SOSTAC) for campaign planning, execution, and optimisation.
  • Champion a client-first approach, advocating for external stakeholder perspectives across the organisation.

Brand Campaigns & High-Impact Events

  • Conceptualise, plan, and deliver cross-business brand events, including high-investment initiatives.
  • Ensure end-to-end event success, covering strategy, logistics, content, and post-event engagement to maximise ROI.
  • Partner with internal teams (Content, Creative, Communications, Digital) to deliver multi-channel, integrated campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyse event performance, iterating to enhance future effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with:
    • Client Account Managers
    • Sector Leaders
    • MarComms and global marketing teams
  • Serve as a strategic marketing advisor for business leadership, refining brand positioning and sales-enabling strategies.
  • Uphold global brand cohesion while adapting for regional market nuances.

Marketing Operations & Performance

  • Support marketing operations, including budget tracking, reporting, and governance frameworks.
  • Leverage data analytics tools to measure campaign performance, optimising for ROI and business impact.
  • Contribute to monthly marketing dashboards and senior leadership reporting.
  • Streamline approval workflows and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Experience

  • 10+ years in strategic marketing, with B2B sector experience (energy, infrastructure, or similar preferred).
  • Demonstrable success in high-impact marketing strategies that drive growth in complex, competitive markets.

  • Global Perspective: Ability to align regional priorities with global business objectives.
  • Client-Centric Mindset: Proven experience build tried customer-centric programs that strengthen relationships and upsell.
  • Leadership & Influence: Experience leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams and collaborating with technical specialists.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM, dashboard reporting) to track KPIs and ROI.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced environments, pivoting quickly to address evolving priorities.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to inspire and influence stakeholders (C-level to operational).
  • Cultural Sensitivity: High cultural awareness, particularly European and Indian market nuances.
  • Results-Oriented: Guided by measurable outcomes and a proven track record of maximizing marketing impact.
