About the Role

I’m working with a growing B2B events business that runs large-scale, international conferences for senior professionals.

They are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join their team on a 10–12 month maternity cover contract. This role requires taking ownership of marketing campaigns across a portfolio of high-value international events, including managing one direct report.

Ideal for someone who loves the pace of B2B events, is commercially oriented, and thrives in multi-channel campaign management from planning to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns across:
    • Email
    • Website
    • Social media
    • Digital & print
    • Direct mail
    • SEO/SEM channels
  • Driving delegate and sponsor leads through targeted campaigns
  • Managing communication calendars and crafting strong, engaging campaign copy
  • Collaborating with sales, product, and internal teams to align marketing with broader business goals
  • Liaising with sponsors, partners, and external stakeholders to maximise event reach and impact
  • Using data and audience insights to optimise campaign performance
  • Managing CRM databases, audience segmentation, lead generation, and new sourcing
  • Tracking campaign performance, event ROI, attendance, engagement, and lead generation
  • Conducting post-event analysis and refining future events using attendee feedback
  • Balancing event budgets while ensuring cost-effectiveness

  • Bringing new ideas and best practices to enhance event marketing
  • Supporting one direct report within the marketing team
  • Travelling to events when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
