Senior Marketing Manager at Shoppertration

Join our dynamic, creative, and fast-growing team in Manchester as we seek an experienced Senior Marketing Manager—an ambitious marketing professional eager for their next challenge.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver outstanding marketing strategies for a portfolio of high-profile retail and destination clients. More than managing accounts, you’ll help drive business growth by identifying opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the agency’s success.

A hands-on position for someone who thrives on creativity, commercial acumen, and fast-paced decision-making. If you’re energetic, relationship-focused, and love turning ideas into reality, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As the senior face for shopping centres and retail destinations, you’ll lead integrated marketing campaigns while acting as a trusted advisor to your clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing strategy and client day-to-day management across the retail portfolio
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to deliver measurable results
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships, serving as a strategic extension of their team
  • Identify value-add opportunities, grow accounts, and support business expansion
  • Oversee budgeting, timelines, and campaign objectives
  • Confidently present strategies, creative concepts, and performance reports
  • Analyse campaign data to recommend strategic improvements
  • Collaborate with in-house teams (creative, social, PR, digital, events) to create award-winning campaigns
  • Represent Shoppertration professionally at client meetings and industry events
  • Mentor and support junior team members as needed

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
