Senior Regional Marketing Manager — UK, Ireland & South Africa

The Role

We’re seeking a successful Regional Marketing Manager for the UK, Ireland, and South Africa. You’ll be the key liaison between regional sales and marketing, owning the regional marketing plan and representing the full marketing scope to regional sales leaders.

This is the connective role that bridges marketing and sales in the region. You’ll bring a strong understanding of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and digital strategies, guiding both strategy and execution as needed.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Own the regional marketing plan across demand generation, channel, events, and field, holding yourself accountable for quarterly and annual targets/budget (UK & Ireland as priority; SA support without primary focus).
  • Be the single point of contact between marketing and regional sales leadership, ensuring alignment by translating sales priorities into actionable programs.
  • Partner with the ABM Director to execute account-based programs in the region, guiding and supporting operational plays.
  • Fully own Proofpoint regional events—from concept to follow-up, covering:
    • Concept & format design
    • Venue selection
    • Content planning
    • Invites & execution
    • Post-event follow-up (e.g., Proofpoint Conference, Executive Roundtables, CISO Dinners, Field Events)
  • Lead partner marketing programs, working with resellers and strategic partners to co-design and co-fund campaigns driving channel pipeline.
  • Integrate with the digital team to run campaigns (e.g., webinars, content syndication, paid media, email) aligned with regional objectives.
  • Tailor EMEA corporate campaigns locally and coordinate with agencies as needed.
  • Participate in regional sales meetings (mid-market and enterprise) quarterly, reporting on program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing & PR to refine messaging for the regional audience.
  • Develop cross-sell, upsell, and competitive take-out programs to expand market presence.
  • Provide quarterly reports on program responses, Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and marketing’s contribution to pipeline—capitalising on data insights rather than passive reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
