Are you the kind of marketer who loves seeing a campaign come to life?
Do you enjoy building attendance for conferences, filling exhibition floors, driving award entries, and watching the numbers roll in after a well-executed campaign?
If so, this could be the role for you.
We're working with a highly respected B2B media and events business that delivers conferences, exhibitions, awards, research and content for senior professionals across financial services and investment markets.
They're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, taking ownership of campaigns, and helping shape new ideas for growth.
⚠️ A quick note: this isn't a people-management role. If you're happiest running campaigns, testing ideas, analysing results and making things happen, you'll likely enjoy this opportunity far more than someone looking to build a large team.
🎯 What you'll be doing
- ✔️ Marketing conferences, exhibitions, awards and webinars
- ✔️ Driving delegate, sponsor and exhibitor acquisition campaigns
- ✔️ Creating and managing email marketing campaigns
- ✔️ Running LinkedIn advertising campaigns
- ✔️ Producing marketing assets using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- ✔️ Updating website content via WordPress or similar CMS platforms
- ✔️ Using Google Analytics and campaign data to improve performance
- ✔️ Working with AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude and other emerging marketing technologies
- ✔️ Supporting new product launches and exploring new marketing opportunities
- ✔️ Collaborating with freelancers and occasionally mentoring interns

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
