Senior Marketing Operations Manager, EMEA (Campaign Operations)

Senior Marketing Operations Manager, EMEA (Campaign Operations) Join Clarion Events in shaping the future of marketing operations for global campaigns

About the Role

Marketing Operations lies at the heart of driving success at Clarion Events—bridging strategy, data, and execution to transform customer engagement. As the Senior Marketing Operations Manager, EMEA (Campaign Operations), you’ll lead our centralised campaign function, ensuring scalable, efficient delivery that aligns with commercial goals.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone passionate about operational excellence, automation, and optimising the full marketing lifecycle. You’ll own campaign planning, build, Q&A, and execution, leveraging a growing tech stack (Salesforce, Pardot, Qualified, AB Tasty) to elevate performance across multiple shows.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute a best-in-class campaign operations strategy, embedding world-class practices.
  • Manage a high-performing team, setting clear priorities and standards for delivery excellence.
  • Align campaign execution with business objectives, ensuring every showcase delivers measurable engagement and ROI.

Operational Excellence & Scalability

  • Design and implement standardised, scalable processes for campaign planning, build, testing, Q&A, and execution.
  • Drive efficiency by automating workflows, reducing manual effort, and accelerating speed-to-market.
  • Own prioritisation of campaign workloads, improving workflows for both Essential and Enhanced shows.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, testing, and innovation.

Campaign Delivery & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end campaign setups: automation (email, conversational), asset creation, website optimisation, and personalisation.
  • Ensure on-brand, on-time, and on-pulse delivery—conforming to best practices while allowing flexibility for agile campaigns.
  • Maintain rigorous quality assurance processes, guaranteeing accuracy, consistency, and high standards across all outputs.
  • Lead complex builds: segmentation, automated journeys, and dynamic content to deliver tailored experiences.

Marketing Technology & Automation

  • Optimise use of marketing automation platforms (Pardot) and champion adoption of tools like Qualified and AB Tasty.
  • Identify data-driven opportunities to automate processes, improve engagement, and boost marketing conversion rates.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and seamless cross-platform data flow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
