The Role
The Senior Marketing Production Executive supports the department by managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations and workflows related to the production of digital and print marketing assets and collateral. This includes stakeholder/supplier liaison, work allocation, monitoring and progress recording, as well as working with our project management platform and supporting with our quality assurance processes.
With meticulous attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure, the post holder will work closely with Marketing, Creative, and Content Managers to facilitate the delivery of assets for multiple workstreams / projects from initiation to completion using workflow asset management systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the production interface between creative, content, and marketing distribution teams and business partners/ internal stakeholders
- Day-to-day supervision of all elements of the daily production cycle, content, creative, and other departmental resources to ensure accurate, high-quality client delivery and service to all areas of the Group.
- Working closely with the creative team to schedule daily tasks, pre-planning workload in advance as much as possible, and prioritizing tasks where needed, updating on progress and status.
- Managing workflows through creative and content generation teams, providing Marketing, Creative, and Content Managers with the day-to-day information and advice to prioritize workloads, highlighting and escalating issues where appropriate.
- Managing day-to-day relationships with key suppliers, in particular print, and, where required, working with Managers to seek additional resource through freelance or overspill.
- Ensuring that workflows are documented, briefed, recorded, maintained, and assessed appropriately, to include such areas as job files, resource, supplier, and print sample files, and providing activity reports identifying volume/commissioning/productivity and cost analysis as required.
- Providing excellent customer service to all clients in an effective and efficient manner and responding quickly to internal and client ad hoc requests.
- Checking the quality and integrity of jobs produced to eradicate mistakes by spotting any ambiguities and any problems with sense, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and CMA compliancy. You will also ensure that documents are presented in accordance with brand guidelines and consistency between jobs is upheld.

Along with the day-to-day, you will be required to support the delivery of events which may fall outside of core working hours i.e. evenings and weekends. This includes (but is not limited to) Open Days, Clearing, and Student/Staff/Corporate Events.
Our Successful Candidate
Our successful candidate will be extremely organized, adaptable, and a problem-solver with a positive attitude. You will be educated to degree level within a related subject area or have significant work experience within a similar role.
You will demonstrate experience of:
- Working in a similar organizational / administrative role in a complex environment.
- Managing / organizing and resolving multiple workflow streams of incoming traffic across various channels in a marketing production environment.
- Scheduling / planning of team resource and tasks, utilizing project management and planning software.
- Excellent accuracy and proof-reading skills.
- High levels of organization and delivery skills, balancing multiple conflicting demands, with the ability to meet deadlines. Able to confidently communicate with stakeholders and other team members if there is a need for reprioritisation.
- Building productive working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Being an excellent team player with a flexible approach, actively helping the team to address problems.
- Proactive self-starter with a keenness to take own initiative and manage tasks effectively.
