Senior Marketing Scientist
Job Opportunity: Marketing Science at Snap Inc.

The Data Science & Insights Team seeks Marketing Science specialists to drive actionable insights, improving decision-making quality, speed, and understanding of customers and products.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Science specialist to join our team at Snap Inc.! This position focuses on driving marketing effectiveness across Small and Medium Customers (SMC), using learning-agenda strategies, experimental design, causal analytics, and ads efficacy solutions.
As our team’s advocate, you’ll enhance advertiser performance and Snap’s value proposition through data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive marketing effectiveness across Small and Medium Customers (SMC) using:
- Learning-agenda strategies
- Experimental design
- Causal analytics
- Advertising (ads) efficacy solutions
- Design measurement, research, and learning plans for critical verticals, aligning with media objectives and long-term business growth
- Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to identify, prototype, and scale innovative solutions
Collaborative & Leadership Scope
- Build a measurement capability and advocacy internally across relevant teams
- Contribute to quarterly Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), focusing on:
- Advertiser growth
- Solutions adoption
- Innovation in measurement tools and capabilities

Key Requirements
Abilities & Skills
- Strong communication skills for reporting to senior and executive stakeholders, both internal and external
- Proven experience in defining, developing, and leading cross-functional projects
- Ability to structure and conduct complex analyses, generating actionable insights and recommendations
- Profound understanding of marketing measurement concepts, solutions, and statistical fundamentals in ads efficacy
- Advanced analytical tool proficiency (e.g., SQL, R, SAS)
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising ecosystems, including social (Snapchat), ad measurement specifics, and advertiser needs
- Creative problem-solving for vertical-specific measurement solutions
Minimum Qualifications (Essential)
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in quantitative, business, or related disciplines
- 5+ years of advanced analytics and measurement experience in one of the following:
- Tech companies
- Media agencies
- Consulting firms
- Advertisers
- Research companies
- Direct experience in ads measurement and analytics
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Master’s degree or equivalent in business, math, economics, engineering, or a related field
- Experience in negotiating and drafting SOWs (Statements of Work) and contracts, with preference for tech procurement perspectives
- Prior work experience with top-performance or brand advertisers
- Experience building and nurturing client/partner relationships
