This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced regulatory lawyer who thrives at the intersection of legal, regulatory and commercial decision-making in a sophisticated global markets environment.

The role sits within a highly regarded legal function, supporting a diverse range of trading and financing activities across derivatives, securities financing, and related market infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide critical advice on legal and regulatory issues across derivatives and securities financing products.
  • Offer guidance on obligations like margin, clearing, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support the implementation and interpretation of evolving regulatory frameworks in the UK, European, and US jurisdictions.
  • Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders across legal, compliance, finance, and trading on regulatory change initiatives.
  • Review and assess market infrastructure, trading venue and client-facing documentation.
  • Assist with capital and leverage considerations impacting trading activities.
  • Manage complex technical queries, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership within the legal team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
