Senior Mechanical Engineer
Bridgend, South Wales - Hybrid - UK Relocation Considered
Up to £55,000 + Benefits
Lead engineers. Develop products. Drive change.
This is an opportunity to step beyond pure design engineering and become a key technical leader within a growing engineering team.
You'll combine hands-on product development with mentoring, coaching and technical leadership, helping shape both the products and the people behind them.
Working across the full product lifecycle, you'll take products from concept through to production, collaborating with customers, suppliers and manufacturing teams across the globe.
If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and influencing how things are done, you'll be given the autonomy to make a genuine impact.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading and mentoring a small Mechanical Engineering team
- Remaining hands-on with design, development and problem solving
- Driving engineering standards, quality and continuous improvement
- Working closely with global customers, suppliers and manufacturing teams
- Supporting products from concept through to production
- Helping shape the future direction of the engineering function
What we're looking for:
- Strong Mechanical Engineering and product development experience
- SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD experience
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerancing and engineering drawings
- Experience delivering products through the full development lifecycle
- Leadership, mentoring or supervisory experience is a bonus
- A proactive engineer who wants to improve, challenge and drive results
- Automotive experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
