Senior Mechanical Engineer- Belfast
Senior Mechanical Engineer Lead Projects, Influence Outcomes, Set the Standard. This is where you move beyond delivery into real influence. You'll lead projects, shape decisions, and play a key role in developing both teams and client relationships.
The Role This role is focused on leading mechanical design across major projects, managing delivery from concept through completion, and helping shape the technical direction of work. You'll work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes while supporting the growth of junior engineers.
What You'll Do Lead mechanical design across major projects Manage delivery including timelines, quality, and technical output Oversee calculations, specifications, and technical reviews Act as a key client contact and trusted advisor Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants Mentor and develop junior engineers Drive sustainability and innovation within projects
What You'll Bring Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering 6+ years' consultancy experience Strong technical expertise across mechanical systems Proven experience leading projects and client relationships Chartered or working towards Chartership desirable Strong leadership and communication skills
