Envirogen Group UK Limited is seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems, for cutting-edge water and wastewater treatment solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability.
As Senior Mechanical Engineer your primary purpose is to be responsible for:
- All technical aspects on projects in the execution phase
- Ensuring all projects fulfil the technical, time and budget deliverables whilst ensuring they are suitable for the process requirements
- Technical proposal writing to support the sales team; analysing drawings, specifications and other documentation, liaising with stakeholders to construct and formulate estimates and resolve issues
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will manage external partners to ensure accuracy of execution costings as well as being responsible for producing technical documentation, conducting feasibility studies, and attending project meetings to discuss progress and provide technical insights.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Technical qualification in mechanical or chemical engineering
Experience and knowledge:
- Experience in industrial water treatment industry
- Significant experience of developing costed technical engineering proposals to clients within a water industry environment (regulated or industrial)
- Ion exchange and reverse osmosis
- Experience with key process equipment, pumps, vessels, tanks etc
- Experience with MS office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Industrial project experience within a team
- Experience with Autocad/ Plant 3D
- Experience with specification and technical alignment of process equipment
- Experience of delivering design risk assessments
- Water treatment technology and process knowledge
- Proven ability of plant take-offs, preparing procurement schedules and expediting
- Technical knowledge, including but not limited to: hydraulic design, process calculations, PFD, P&ID and mass balance
