Description

As part of our continued growth within the data centre sector, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our team. This pivotal role will support the expansion of our offsite manufacturing business, delivering high-performance modular MEP solutions for some of Europe's most complex mission-critical infrastructure projects.

  • Operating from our advanced manufacturing facilities in Ireland, we specialise in the design, development, fabrication and delivery of innovative, sustainable and fully integrated offsite prefabricated solutions.
  • Our engineered systems are manufactured in Ireland and deployed throughout the UK and Europe, supporting major commercial, industrial and mission-critical sectors.

Our expertise in offsite manufacturing enables us to improve program certainty, reduce on-site activity, enhance quality and accelerate project delivery, and support the continued growth of digital infrastructure across the UK and Europe.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Lead Estimator you will be an essential part of the Commercial Team responsible for assisting in the preparation of accurate costings for data centre projects.

Day-to-day estimating will include:

  • Costing of a wide range of commercial and industrial applications, from bespoke plantrooms, risers, laterals & prefabricated solutions.
  • Generating detailed mechanical takeoffs for turnkey commercial projects which will involve liaising with a wide range of suppliers to obtain accurate quotations for specialist equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with our contract managers, purchasing department & wider commercial department in order to generate a seamless link from initial costing through to design, installation and completion for each project.
  • The role will primarily be based out of our Dundalk office, however the successful applicant will be required to attend the Belfast office one day a week.

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Estimator

Location: Dundalk

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm

Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience
