Role Description

The Medical Aesthetician is a full-time, on-site role based in St Albans, responsible for delivering high-quality aesthetic and wellness treatments in line with clinic protocols and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Performing non-surgical procedures such as laser hair removal, microneedling, and other advanced skin treatments
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate client treatment records
  • Conducting consultations
  • Assessing skin and treatment suitability
  • Educating clients on pre- and post-care
  • Supporting doctor-led treatment plans

The role involves contributing to an exceptional client experience by providing professional customer service, ensuring a welcoming environment, and collaborating with the clinical team to achieve consistent “WOW” results.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in aesthetic treatment techniques such as collagen regeneration, fat reducing, RF, medical microneedling, non surgical facelifts, body sculpting, wellmess checks, IPL, medical facials, medical Skincare, Laser Hair Removal, with a strong focus on safety and effectiveness.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced skin procedures, including Microneedling and related non-surgical treatments as above.
  • Foundational understanding of Medicine or medical aesthetics principles to support doctor-led treatment plans.
  • Strong Customer Service skills, including the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and deliver a luxury client experience.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in aesthetics, beauty therapy, or medical aesthetics; registration with appropriate professional bodies is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail in treatment documentation, adherence to clinical protocols, and commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical team and adapt to evolving technologies and treatment techniques.
  • Previous experience in a premium or clinic-based environment is highly desirable.
