Our Senior Medical Writers Are Responsible For
- Contributing to the full range of medical education/communication programmes
- Ensuring delivery of high-quality scientific content, reviewing work by junior colleagues, and providing internal leadership of small editorial teams
- Leading scientific discussions with clients and external experts, face to face and on calls
- Contributing to scientific strategy to inform tactical planning of accounts, both internally and with clients
- Helping to identify organic growth opportunities on accounts
- Contributing to the scientific development of proposals and pitches
- Line management, mentoring, coaching, and training
Key things we are looking to see in an application:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Medical Writer
- Details of previous agencies, clients, therapy area experience, project types and the audiences for which you have written (e.g. specialists, GPs, nurses, pharmacists and patients)
- Strong communication skills, high emotional intelligence, the ability to adapt your approach according to the needs of clients and teams, and the ability to respond rapidly to situations and manage internal/external issues
- Familiarity with organic growth and contributing to proposals and pitches
- Ability to deliver events and large educational programmes, and experience of digital projects
- Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, e.g. ABPI, GPP3, ICMJE
