The opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join our highly talented Value & Access team.

This is a hands-on writing role where you'll take ownership of developing high-quality HEOR, value communications and publications deliverables for global pharmaceutical clients. You'll work across a broad range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, rare diseases, obesity, gastroenterology, and ophthalmology, while contributing to strategic scientific discussions, mentoring junior writers, and supporting new business activities.

Whether you're already experienced in HEOR and value communications or have a strong publications background with an interest in expanding your expertise, you'll be supported by a collaborative team committed to scientific excellence.

How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group?

Role responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, client and competitor products, the market, and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Develop high-quality, scientifically accurate, strategically aligned, and compliant HEOR, value communications, and publications content that meets client objectives.
  • Interpret and communicate complex clinical, health economic, and real-world evidence in a range of formats tailored to different audiences.
  • Contribute to scientific and strategic discussions, helping shape communication approaches across assigned projects.
  • Independently manage a portfolio of writing projects, delivering high-quality work to agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Provide critical scientific review and quality control of colleagues' work, ensuring accuracy and consistency with source materials.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and external experts, participating in meetings and presentations as appropriate.
  • Contribute scientific content to new business proposals and support pitch presentations where required.
  • Mentor and support junior writers, sharing knowledge and helping to develop writing excellence across the team.
  • Contribute to project tracking and reporting using relevant systems, including DataVision, iEnvision, Zinc, and related tools.

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

  • An advanced degree in a life sciences or clinical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience as a Medical Writer within a medical communications agency environment.
  • Strong experience delivering HEOR, value communications, and/or publications projects. Candidates with a strong publications background and an interest in developing their HEOR expertise are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate complex scientific, health economic, and real-world evidence in a variety of styles and formats.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong copyediting, proofreading, and quality control skills.
  • Experience conducting literature reviews and using scientific databases to support evidence generation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and external experts.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with experience using reference management software (e.g., EndNote), graphing software (e.g., GraphPad Prism), and project tracking systems.
