We’re looking for a motivated Senior MEP Cost Consultant to join our London team
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across both pre- and post-contract MEPH cost management stages, with the confidence to lead project delivery, provide specialist commercial advice and support client relationships.
This full-time, hybrid role involves working with clients and project teams to deliver residential developments across the UK (£20m - £150m), reporting directly to an Associate Director or Director while leading the MEPH cost management of high-profile schemes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead day-to-day MEPH cost management activities across assigned projects
- Manage cost planning, estimating, procurement and post-contract delivery through to project completion
- Provide specialist commercial advice on MEPH costs, risk management and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle
- Work closely with clients, consultants and wider project teams to support successful project outcomes
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including senior-level engagement
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to the continued development of MEPH technical knowledge and digital and data-led approaches to cost management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- MRICS preferred or another relevant professional qualification
- Strong technical capability across core MEPH cost management and project delivery processes
- Practical experience of cost estimating, cost planning, procurement and post-contract cost management
- Good knowledge of MEPH systems and technologies across the project lifecycle
- Commercial awareness with a strong understanding of residential cost drivers and development objectives
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing workloads across multiple projects and delivering to deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Adaptable and proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Interest in digital and data-driven approaches within construction and cost management
- Passion for the Real Estate and Construction Industry and developing a long-term consultancy career
