An exciting opportunity has arisen for a career driven Senior MEP Design Manager to be site based within the region and office based during tender and pre-construction.
The business has an exceptional name across the construction industry and are considered a market leader, not only for the enviable portfolio of major projects but also for their attitude towards their staff and their personal development giving them high levels of staff retention.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of tender information highlighting risk and divergences
- Determine, in conjunction with the preconstruction team, the strategy for completing the design
- Issue fee enquiries and generate a robust fee schedule for completion of the design
- Ensure Novation agreements and designer scope of services meet project requirements
- Select, prequalify, and appoint designers/secondary consultants as needed

Desired Experience:
- Confident in leading negotiations with third parties
- Ability to form effective relationships with partners and delivery team members
- Experience of leading a team and/or coaching team members
- Skilled in a wide range of construction methods, technology and materials
