Senior Merchandiser (Outlets) – Reiss
About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially minded and analytical Senior Merchandiser to join our Outlets department. In this key role, you’ll lead the planning, trading, and stock management of Outlet product across all channels, ensuring sales, margin, and stock targets are achieved.
Collaborating with Buying, Retail, and Warehouse teams, you’ll oversee the range planning process, critical path, and in-season trading to deliver a balanced, brand-right, and commercially successful product offer across the Reiss Outlet business.
Who You Are
- An experienced product Senior Merchandiser with strong Outlets, planning, trading, and stock management experience
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and a commercial approach to decision-making
- Confident in managing OTB (Open to Buy), forecasting, and driving sales performance while maintaining profitability
- A strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration with Buying, Retail, and Warehouse teams
- Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
- A positive leader who develops and motivates others to deliver strong results
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the critical path to ensure key seasonal milestones and trading objectives are achieved.
- Leading the Outlet Exclusive range planning process, identifying commercial opportunities, areas for growth, and driving department strategy.
- Overseeing planning and buying activities to ensure alignment with business and financial targets.
- Developing and presenting Sales and Buy Plans by season, including performance and attribute analysis.
- Building balanced, commercial collections that reflect the Reiss brand DNA.
- Driving weekly trade meetings, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales and reduce markdown.
- Managing Divisional OTB & WSSI (Work in Stock, In Store Inventory), responding to trade with timely rebuys and cancellations.
- Overseeing stock allocation and replenishment, ensuring store grading aligns with performance and opportunity.
