Senior MI Analyst - Newark
Are you passionate about turning complex data into meaningful business insight? Can you lead and develop a team while driving data-led operational improvements? Ready to influence key decisions across warehousing, transport and large-scale customer operations?
We are looking for a Senior MI Analyst to join our Currys site in Newark. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our Head of Operational Excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of management information, reporting, analytics and business insight across our warehouse and transport operations.
You'll be responsible for transforming data from multiple systems into actionable intelligence that supports operational performance, cost control, customer reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. Leading a small team of MI Analysts, you'll help shape data standards, reporting frameworks and business intelligence capabilities across the Newark warehouse, ERDCs and Transport operations, while supporting major business projects and key stakeholders across operations, finance and support functions.
This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of MI, reporting, analytics and business intelligence across warehouse and transport operations
- Manage, coach and develop a team of MI Analysts, ensuring high-quality reporting, insight generation and stakeholder support
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, performance reporting and data visualisations that drive operational and commercial decision-making
- Partner with operational, customer, finance and support teams to turn complex data into meaningful insights that improve service, efficiency and cost performance
- Establish and maintain data governance, reporting standards and best practices whilst supporting major projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Strong experience in MI, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Business Analysis within a logistics, supply chain, warehousing or operational environment
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse large, complex data sets from multiple systems
- Proven experience designing and developing interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
- Previous experience leading, coaching and developing analysts or small analytical teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly and influence decision-making at all levels
