All milk is sourced from farmer-owned co-operative First Milk, ensuring 100% British products produced to high standards, and offered in reusable, recyclable glass bottles, alongside non-dairy alternatives and related products. With over 1,000 employees and more than 16 depots, McQueens Dairies is headquartered in Glasgow and is committed to supporting local communities and nurseries through schemes such as the Nursery Milk Scheme.
Role Description
The Senior Microsoft Dynamics Developer will design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics solutions to support core business operations at McQueens Dairies. This contract, on-site role based in the United Kingdom involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, configure Dynamics modules, and build customizations, integrations, and workflows that optimize processes such as ordering, logistics, and customer management. The developer will handle troubleshooting and performance tuning, ensure data integrity and security, and contribute to solution architecture and technical documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting deployments and upgrades, and advising on best practices to ensure scalability and reliability of the Dynamics environment.

- Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM/ERP development skills, including customization, configuration, plugins, workflows, and integration design.
- Solid experience with related Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure services, and SQL Server for data modeling and reporting.
- Robust software engineering skills, including C#,.NET development, API design, version control (e.g., Git), and unit/integration testing.
- Capabilities in solution architecture and system integration, including working with third-party systems, ETL tools, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams and engaging non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and professional certifications in Microsoft Dynamics or Azure, are highly beneficial.
- Experience in logistics, distribution, FMCG, or similar operational environments, and familiarity with UK-based business processes, is an advantage.
