The Role
As a Senior Migration Engineer – Microsoft 365, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end migration solutions across mergers and acquisitions environments. You will lead all phases of the migration lifecycle, from discovery and planning through to execution and post-migration support. You will ensure that all solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, minimise technical debt, and support business objectives, while working closely with stakeholders across business and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 migration projects, including tenant-to-tenant and G-Suite to Microsoft 365 migrations.
- Manage all phases of the migration lifecycle, including discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and post-migration validation.
- Perform data preparation, clean-up, and migration readiness activities.
- Execute migrations with minimal downtime and ensure data integrity throughout the process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues efficiently.
- Ensure alignment of migration activities with enterprise architecture standards and IT strategy.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define migration strategies and technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and communication of key decisions throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Support post-migration validation, optimisation, and user transition activities.
- Maintain documentation of migration plans, configurations, and processes.

Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong experience delivering Microsoft 365 migration projects, including tenant-to-tenant migrations.
- Proven expertise using Quest On Demand Migration (high proficiency required).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Experience across all migration phases, including discovery, planning, execution, and validation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in migration scenarios.
- Experience working with enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience architecting and implementing Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions.
- Hands-on technical expertise with modern migration and infrastructure technologies.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Experience using BitTitan MigrationWiz for complex or non-standard migration scenarios.
- Experience with ShareGate for SharePoint and OneDrive migrations.
- Experience within insurance or financial services environments.
- Knowledge of delivery methodologies and project frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in fast-paced transformation environments.
