Senior ML Engineer

Location: West London – Hybrid (Onsite 2 days per week)

Employment Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)

What You’ll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

  • Model Development: Design, train, and optimise machine learning models for:
    • User personalisation
    • Recommendation engines
    • Ranking algorithms
    • User segmentation
    • Content analysis

  • Data Pipeline Engineering: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for feature engineering and model training (structured/unstructured, large-scale datasets).

  • Production Deployment: Deploy and monitor ML models to ensure:

    • High availability
    • Optimal performance
    • Model relevance
  • Experimentation: Lead A/B tests and offline experiments to measure model efficacy and drive continuous improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams to align ML initiatives with business objectives and user needs.

  • Research & Innovation: Explore emerging ML, deep learning, and personalisation technologies for integration.


What You’ll Bring

Must-Have Experience

✔ Proficiency in Python + deep knowledge of ML libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). ✔ Expertise in full ML lifecycle (development → deployment → serving → monitoring → maintenance). ✔ Hands-on experience with:

  • ML training frameworks (TFX, Kubeflow Pipelines SDK)
  • Model serving (TensorFlow Serving, Triton, TorchServe) ✔ Ability to optimise large-scale data processing and handle real-time streaming architectures. ✔ Strong grasp of recommendation systems and personalisation algorithms. ✔ Familiarity with Generative AI and its production-level applications. ✔ Applied problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
