About the Company
Enver is a leading VR game studio and publisher headquartered in New York City. We build viral, social gaming worlds and are known for top-tier publishing and marketing, with creator-led campaigns behind some of the biggest titles in VR, including chart-topping games on Meta Quest. Our specialty is social, live-ops driven multiplayer games built around communities, creators, and content loops. Now we're taking that playbook to mobile. This is Enver's first global mobile launch, built on a major licensed IP, and one of the most ambitious projects we've ever shipped. You'd be joining as the studio scales from VR leader to global multi-platform publisher.
About the Role
A global, real-time multiplayer arcade football game for iOS and Android. Matches run on Photon Fusion 2 dedicated servers, the metagame runs on a custom backend built on Azure (containerized apps), and content ships continuously through Addressables-based remote delivery. It's a full live-ops product: season passes, live events, daily challenges, leagues, gacha, and an in-game shop, updated on a weekly cadence. We move fast in a live environment. Code you write ships to real players quickly, and you'll see the impact of your work the same week.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship features across gameplay and metagame in Unity 6 / C#
- Develop real-time networked gameplay on Photon Fusion 2: state sync, prediction and reconciliation, latency compensation, server-authoritative logic
- Build live-ops systems (events, season pass, progression, economy, offers) integrated with our Azure backend and remote content pipeline
- Own features end to end, from technical design through release and post-release monitoring
- Profile and optimize for low-end Android through high-end iOS
- Investigate and resolve live incidents with urgency and clear communication
- Collaborate with design, art, backend, and QA in a fully remote team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional Unity/C# development, with at least one shipped mobile title supported post-launch, ideally more
- Hands-on real-time multiplayer experience at scale, ideally Photon Fusion, including dedicated and server-authoritative architectures
- Live-ops experience: release trains, feature flags, remote config, A/B tests, and the discipline of never breaking a live economy
- Strong mobile performance optimization and Unity internals (profiling, memory, IL2CPP, Addressables)
- Experience integrating client features against custom backend services (REST APIs, player data, economy, leaderboards)
- Comfortable with async and reactive C# (UniTask, UniRx or similar)
- Excellent communication: you explain problems and trade-offs clearly, flag risks early, and thrive in an async remote environment
- Based in the UK or Eastern Europe with reliable overlap with UK working hours

Required Skills

- Unity IAP, ad mediation, attribution (AppsFlyer), ROI360
- Anti-cheat, client hardening, or Play Integrity experience
- Perforce, FMOD, URP/Shader Graph, localization for global markets
- Console experience (Switch / PlayStation / Xbox)
- Sports or physics-driven action games
Pay range and compensation package
$5,000 to $8,000 USD per month
