Senior Motion Designer
Location: Leeds, UK
Overview of the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join our in-house creative team and help shape how our brand moves, feels, and connects with audiences. You’ll play a key role in defining our visual language through motion — crafting impactful, on-brand animations that bring our stories, products, and campaigns to life across digital, social, and experiential platforms. This is a role for a creative thinker who combines design sensitivity with technical mastery, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can elevate every piece of motion work produced under our brand.
Our brand is constantly evolving — and motion is how we express that evolution. We need a Senior Motion Designer who can turn strategy into emotion, design into movement, and stories into experiences that people remember.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
Our Leeds office is at the heart of our business. The 8-storey building has an onsite staff gym and cafeteria, two heated rooftop terraces, a dedicated gaming room, and a staircase amphitheatre. The space brings all our teams under one roof in the biggest private letting office in Yorkshire.
What You’ll Do
- Design and produce motion graphics, animations, and visual storytelling across marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand communications
- Use AI-powered tools to support concept development, design, animation, and content production while maintaining high creative standards
- Develop motion systems and design principles that bring consistency and innovation to how our brand moves
- Collaborate closely with brand, marketing, product, and content teams to translate strategic goals into engaging motion design
- Push creative boundaries while maintaining brand coherence and visual excellence
- Oversee and mentor motion designers, providing feedback and guidance to ensure the highest standards of design and animation
- Stay ahead of emerging tools, technologies, and motion trends to keep our creative output fresh and forward-thinking
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
- Bring our brand to life across every touchpoint — from campaigns to social, product launches to internal storytelling
- Shape a cohesive motion language that defines how our brand feels in motion
- Push creative boundaries and elevate the quality of our visual communication
- Inspire and mentor others, raising the standard of motion design across the team
- Ensure every animation, transition, and piece of motion content doesn’t just look good — it feels like us

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
