Senior Motion Designer – Lead Motion at BJAK

We build superior application platforms globally with the mission of creating successful businesses while contributing positively to society by making it more efficient.
We developed the first and leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia to digitize the insurance industry. The platform currently serves over 8 million users across the region.
We are continuing our mission by building new, superior applications in emerging use cases as applications become increasingly integrated with AI.
Our team is densely talented, highly motivated, and focused on engineering and product excellence within a very flat organization. All members are expected to be hands-on and to contribute directly to the company’s mission.
What You Will Do
Creative Direction & Motion Design
- Lead the design and animation of motion graphics for UK marketing campaigns, product explainers, social content, and digital advertising
- Conceptualize and develop storyboards, frames, and animation sequences aligned with UK brand objectives
- Maintain visual consistency and technical quality across all motion outputs
- Elevate design quality through experimentation, art direction, and storytelling
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with UK Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to translate objectives into motion-driven content
- Mentor junior motion designers and guide creative execution for UK projects
- Partner with video editors, videographers, and graphic designers to produce cohesive multimedia content
- Present design concepts to stakeholders clearly and persuasively

Technical & Workflow Mastery
- Oversee motion production from concept to delivery, ensuring efficiency and technical excellence
- Develop reusable templates and motion design systems to streamline production
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative innovation with timely delivery
- Troubleshoot animation, rendering, or visual effects issues to maintain quality
Trend & Innovation
- Stay at the forefront of UK and global motion design trends, animation techniques, and creative tools
- Experiment with advanced VFX, 3D animation, and emerging digital formats
- Continuously push creative boundaries to set new benchmarks for BJAK’s new UK brand
What You Bring
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Multimedia Design, or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or creative production
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and other motion design tools (Cinema 4D, Blender is a plus)
- Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual composition
- Proven ability to lead creative direction and guide teams toward impactful visual outcomes
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating advanced motion design and animation work

Location Requirement
- Based in the UK
Compensation Range
- £32,000 – £50,000 base salary per annum
Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
