SENIOR MOTION DESIGNER
Senior Motion Designer – Chapter 3
About Chapter 3
Chapter 3 Graphics, part of the Whisper Group, is an award-winning creative studio specialising in motion design, broadcast graphics, live events, branded content, and immersive visual experiences.
While sport sits at the heart of what we do, our work extends far beyond it. We collaborate with broadcasters, brands, rights holders, production companies, and event organisers to create content that informs, entertains, and inspires audiences around the world.
From title sequences and live broadcast graphics to promotional campaigns, real-time experiences, and emerging technologies such as AR and AI-driven content, we help our clients tell stories in new and engaging ways.
Our clients include some of the biggest names in sport, entertainment, and media, and our work is seen by millions of viewers every week.
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Motion Designer who combines exceptional creative ability with the confidence and experience to lead projects.
This is not a pure management role. We're looking for someone who loves being on the tools, crafting outstanding design and animation work, while also taking ownership of projects and helping elevate those around them.
You'll work closely with the Creative Director and GFX Producers to develop ideas, solve creative challenges, and deliver world-class work across broadcast, digital, social, live events, and branded content.
You'll be trusted to take projects from brief to delivery, making creative decisions independently while contributing to the wider creative direction of the studio.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the creative development of projects from concept through to final delivery
- Creating high-quality motion design, animation, and visual storytelling across multiple platforms
- Developing creative responses for pitches, proposals, and client presentation
- Working directly with producers, creatives, and clients to bring ideas to life
- Mentoring and supporting junior and midweight designers
- Contributing to the evolution of our creative standards, workflows, and processes
- Exploring new technologies, techniques, and creative opportunities
- Helping shape innovative solutions that push beyond traditional broadcast graphics

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
