Senior Motion Designer

The client's vision is to create Living brands for the world’s most pioneering technology companies, and so motion must become inherent built into our thinking from the very inception of a brand project.

As a Senior Motion Designer you’re a driving force behind that: bringing brands to life through rich, considered movement, and pushing our motion craft forwards with brilliant creative ideas, exceptional execution, and smart, rational thinking.

You’ll move fluidly between 2D motion graphics, 3D animation and short-form edit — and you’ll relish doing it shoulder-to-shoulder with our designers, who are motion thinkers too.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • You'll create best-in-class motion for brand identities, campaigns and motion narratives — equally comfortable on 2D and 3D builds
  • You’ll bring motion thinking into projects from the very start, shaping concepts and treatments rather than bolting movement on at the end
  • You’ll edit short-form for video-led projects, and cut mood films for pitches and internal work when needed
  • You’ll work closely with the wider creative and design teams to develop concepts, treatments and storyboards — sharing freely and bringing others with you
  • You may lead the motion workstream on a project, giving clear, constructive direction to others contributing motion
  • You’ll confidently present and sell your ideas and your work, both to internal teams and to clients and partners
  • You’ll set the standard in the studio for craft, attention-to-detail and ingenuity
  • You’ll champion new and better ways of working — actively learning, testing and trialling generative and AI motion tooling, and bringing the best of it into our process
  • You’ll give clear direction and constructive feedback when working with external motion talent
  • You’ll own your own workloads across multiple projects and timescales, delivering on time and on budget
  • You’ll report to the Creative Director, and support on the running and leading of motion projects — including input into project scopes and estimates where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
