Senior Motion Graphics Designer [211012]

Senior Motion Designer

The clients' vision is to create Living brands for the world’s most pioneering technology companies, and so motion must become inherent, built into our thinking from the very inception of a brand project.

As a senior motion designer, you’re a driving force behind that: bringing brands to life through rich, considered movement, and pushing our motion craft forwards with brilliant creative ideas, exceptional execution, and smart, rational thinking.

You’ll move fluidly between 2D motion graphics, 3D animation, and short-form editing — relishing collaboration with our motion-thinking designers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create best-in-class motion for brand identities, campaigns, and motion narratives — equally comfortable working with 2D and 3D builds
  • Inject motion thinking into projects from the start, shaping concepts rather than retrofitting movement later
  • Edit short-form video projects and produce mood films for pitches and internal use
  • Collaborate closely with design and creative teams to develop treatments, storyboards, and workflows
  • Lead the motion workstream on projects, providing technical and creative direction
  • Present and sell ideas and work confidently to clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Elevate the studio’s standards for craft, detail, and ingenuity
  • Champion innovative workflows, including exploring generative and AI motion tooling
  • Provide clear direction and feedback when working with external motion talent
  • Manage multiple deadlines, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and budget
  • Report to the Creative Director, supporting motion project leadership, including scope development

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
