The Role: Senior Motor Fleet Underwriter
At Flock, we're transforming the motor fleet insurance landscape with cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights.
As a Senior Motor Fleet Underwriter, your pivotal role will shape our mission to deliver smarter, safer, and more cost-effective insurance solutions. You’ll leverage advanced analytics to:
- Assess risk effectively
- Optimise underwriting processes
- Design tailored policies meeting our clients’ unique needs

What You’ll Bring to Flock (Essentials)
Core Requirements
- Extensive experience underwriting motor fleet insurance
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with insurance brokers
- Strong data analytic skills, collaborating with the Head of Underwriting to:
- Monitor and analyse portfolio performance
- Optimise risk information collection processes
- Experience refining policy wording and coverage recommendations
- Stay updated on rapidly evolving market trends and cutting-edge products/services in motor fleet insurance
- Proven capability to train and develop Underwriting and operations teams
- Ability to promote Underwriting knowledge across Flock
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience dealing with large corporate clients
- ACII qualification or working towards it
- Ability to closely collaborate with product teams, ensuring:
- Alignments of product, process, and customer journeys
- Enhancements are included in the product roadmap

Working With Flock
We operate on a hybrid working model, prioritising 3 minimum days in the office per week. Our UK HQ is in Central London, easily accessible near Moorgate and Liverpool Street.
