About the Role

We make health happen. Working as our Senior MSK Physiotherapist, Deputy Lead, you’ll provide assessment and treatment for adults with MSK conditions and may also include some older teenage patients through implementation of specialist MSK treatments to maximize their rehabilitation outcomes.

As Deputy Lead MSK Physiotherapist, you will support the Lead MSK Physiotherapist in the operational and clinical leadership of the service. You will be actively involved in service development initiatives, audit, and quality improvement to ensure high standards of care and continuous service enhancement. You will be expected to establish and maintain efficient communication within the multi-disciplinary team (both internal and external) to ensure a holistic and complete duty of care. This includes verbal, non-verbal, and written communication, both in expression and active listening, to facilitate accurate comprehension of information.

Responsibilities

  • Be independently responsible for the Physiotherapy management of your patient load and to practice as an accountable professional using reflective practice and clinical reasoning in undertaking specialist assessment in order to provide an individualized treatment program for each patient.
  • Obtain informed, valid consent on an ongoing basis which endeavors to keep them involved in their own health care plan. This includes education to support ongoing management.
  • Provide programs of care for the MSK patients in your care through assessment and implementation of specialist MSK treatments in order to maximize their rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Represent and advocate for your patients’ needs within the multidisciplinary team, including attending MDT meetings as required.
  • Provide appropriate information, education, and support for your client group.
  • Comply with confidentiality policies as set out by Cromwell Hospital (CH), HCPC and the CSP.
  • Respect a patient’s right to be chaperoned and appropriately implement the hospital chaperone policy.
  • Accept accountability for your clinical and non-clinical actions.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely patient treatment records.
  • Manage clinical risk within your caseload at all times and ensure potential clinical risk is effectively communicated and managed.
  • Promote dignity, privacy, and safety at all times, with particular consideration of the patient’s cultural, spiritual, and personal needs and preferences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
