Senior MSK Physiotherapist (Remote)
Part-Time or Full-Time | Minimum 12 Hours per Week during 8am - 5pm - You choose your schedule!
Looking for a flexible physiotherapy role that allows you to make a meaningful impact while working remotely?
GPDQ is seeking an experienced Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our growing remote clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity to support patients with musculoskeletal conditions through digital consultations, delivering expert assessment, advice, self-management plans, and onward referrals where appropriate.
Working within a clinically supported and innovative healthcare environment, you'll play a key role in improving access to high-quality MSK care across the UK.
The Opportunity
- Remote role based within the UK
- Part-time or full-time opportunities available
- Minimum commitment of 12 hours per week
- Weekday working hours between 08:00 - 17:00
- In-hours rate: £35 per hour
- Out-of-hours rate: £40 per hour
- Clinical support available
- Immediate start available
This service operates alongside existing healthcare providers to ensure patients have timely access to specialist MSK triage where no GP referral has been made.
The role combines expert clinical assessment with patient education, supporting individuals to effectively self-manage their condition while facilitating referrals to appropriate recognised clinicians and services when required.

You'll be joining a service focused on improving patient outcomes through accessible, high-quality care delivered by experienced healthcare professionals.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality telephone and video consultations for patients presenting with MSK conditions
- Conduct 15-minute remote assessments and clinical triage appointments
- Provide clinical diagnoses and evidence-based self-management plans
- Manage patient pathways to achieve the most appropriate clinical outcomes
- Arrange onward referrals where clinically appropriate
- Assess patient needs and provide tailored advice and support
- Deliver remote guidance on exercise techniques, rehabilitation programmes, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
- Provide ongoing support, motivation, and progress reviews throughout a patient's rehabilitation journey
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using telehealth and electronic medical record systems
- Stay up to date with developments in MSK practice and participate in continuing professional development activities
- Deliver consistently high standards of patient-centred care

What We're Looking For
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have:
- MSc postgraduate qualification in MSK Physiotherapy or university-accredited postgraduate modules in MSK/Advanced Practice
- Band 7 Physiotherapist experience
- Completion of FCP1 and FCP2
- Current HCPC registration
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience within MSK Primary Care
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in a senior MSK role
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to formulate evidence-based treatment plans
- Ability to order and interpret diagnostic investigations
- Strong IT skills with experience using telehealth platforms and electronic patient record systems
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
Desirable:
- Postgraduate modules relevant to diagnostic Advanced Practice Physiotherapy services
- Evidence of working at Level 7 (MSc level) across the four pillars of advanced practice:

Research
- Previous experience delivering virtual care and remote consultations
